"She’s stunning in the bottle, but I’m terrified she won’t survive the real world..."
Is this the number one fear holding you back from stepping into the world of Tissue Culture?
You are not alone. But here is the truth: Deflasking—or Acclimatization—isn't the nightmare you imagine. Once you understand a little bit of the science, it is simply like transitioning a newborn baby from an incubator. They just need the right care to strengthen up before facing the outside world.
Today, Thai Tissue Culture International is here to walk you through it, step-by-step. We are here to turn your anxiety into confidence. We guarantee that if you follow our method, your precious plants will not just survive—they will thrive 100%.
Before We Begin: Why Do Plants Go Into "Shock"?
To give them the right care, we first need to understand the drastic difference between their life inside the bottle and the outside world:
Humidity: Inside, humidity is nearly 100%, causing the leaf pores (Stomata) to stay open constantly. If exposed to dry air immediately, the plant will rapidly lose water and wilt.
Nutrition: Inside, the plants sit back and enjoy sweet nutrients from the agar (Heterotrophic). Once planted in soil, they must switch modes to find their own food and photosynthesize (Autotrophic).
Sterility: The bottle is a sterile safe haven, whereas the outside world is filled with fungi and bacteria.
The Key Takeaway: The heart of successful acclimatization is maintaining "High Humidity" and "Strict Cleanliness."

Let’s Do This: 6 Steps to Success by Thai Tissue
📝 What You'll Need: Clean pots, Rooting hormone, Fungicide, Peat Moss, and a Dome cup (or clear plastic bag).
Gently Unbottle: Carefully remove your plant from the glass. Treat it like a fragile gem!
Boost Immunity: Soak the plant in a mix of rooting hormone and fungicide for 10 minutes.
Choose the Right Soil: Use moist Peat Moss. (Skip the garden soil for now; it’s too dirty for these babies).
Planting Time: Place your seedling into the Peat Moss pot.
Build a Safe House (Closed System):
Cover the pot with a dome lid or tie it inside an inflated plastic bag to keep the humidity high.
Care Tip: Place it in bright, indirect light. ❌ NO direct sun, or it will get too hot inside!
Maintenance: At Day 15, open the lid to mist it with water, then close it back up.
Ready for the World: In 30-45 days, when roots are strong, start opening the lid to acclimatize it to the real world. Congratulations, you’ve done it!
