Musa (ABB group) 'Thepanom'

Thepanom banana (Musa (ABB group) 'Thepanom') is an ornamental banana distinguished by its beautifully arranged bunch, reminiscent of a praying-hands gesture. The fruits are angular with a sweet taste, soft flesh, seedless, and less likely to cause bloating, making them suitable for eating as well as for ornamental planting. The plant grows about 3–3.5 m tall with green leaves; the petiole wings are green; the outer leaf sheaths are green with a pink base; and the inflorescence has reddish-purple bracts with rounded tips.
