Musa (ABB Group) 'Kluai Dang Three Colour' is a trade name for a collector's banana indicating the ABB genomic group and a three-level color characteristic. Kluai Dang refers to red tones, while Three Colour suggests that the plant was selected for visible color differences on the leaves or pseudostem. There is not yet an institutional description defining which colors must appear or where. Its basic form remains that of a clumping banana with a pseudostem, large leaves, and an underground rhizome. New-leaf color may change as leaves mature or light levels vary, so retain the full name together with the source label and do not group it with Kluai Dang Marble simply because both names contain the word red.
Grow it in high light to support a sturdy form and observe its color, but acclimate it gradually from shade to sun to reduce damage to pale areas. Use loose, organic-rich, well-drained soil. Water consistently in hot weather while avoiding pools around the rhizome. Provide wind shelter to reduce torn leaves and space the suckers so each plant receives light. Check several new leaves before deciding whether the color characteristic is stable or changing. If the plant produces a bunch, manage water, nutrients, and support as for an ABB-group banana, but do not use Three Colour as a claim about flavor or edibility. For propagation, select suckers with a clear history of the characteristic and label the mother plant.
