Epipremnum pinnatum 'Marble Planet' is a tropical vine that roots at the nodes and climbs readily along surfaces; it belongs to the Araceae family. Its selected-cultivar name distinguishes its horticultural character from the base species, while its mature color and form still depend on growing conditions. As the canopy gradually establishes, the details of the leaves and internodes become clearer, so leave enough room for the plant to develop its natural form. Leaf color, thickness, and size may change with the plant's age, light levels, and root health.
To develop a balanced canopy, provide bright indirect light, an airy medium, and a stake or support to climb if larger leaves are desired. Check the medium before every watering and avoid moving the plant abruptly from shade into intense sun. It can be displayed either as a hanging plant or as a climber to create vertical lines. If the plant must be moved or its conditions changed, do so gradually and wait for new growth before assessing its final color and form. Leave enough space around the plant for its mature shape so that care and cleaning can be carried out without disturbing the roots.
